Centering Collars

Centering collars are used to insulate a pipeline from a steel or concrete sleeve in road, path and/or railway crossings and they are fully compliant with the requirements de cathodic protection.

We offer two types of collar assembly:

  • Collar assembly by means of plastic pins.
  • Collar assembly by means of screws and nuts.

Collars assembled by means of plastic pins require no tools or screws.

This assembly system allows a high load capacity.

The MF range includes six segment formats (Micro - Mini - Medi - Maxi and Maxi 0.5) and twenty-one rib heights that allow the centering of various pipeline diameters starting with ND 1-¼ in.

Our range includes 4 models:

Type MS

The MS type is made of  MS - MS/2 segments for pipeline diameters of 14 in and more, with rib heights of  25, 36 and 50 mm.

Type MSG

The MSG type is made of MSG 1 & MSG 1.5 segments for pipeline diameters of 14 in and more, with rib heights of 20 to 125 mm.

Type GK

The GK type is made of GK1, GK2 and GK3 segments for pipeline diameters of 3’’½ and more, with rib heights of 16 to 125 mm.

All our collars are made of black polyethylene with:

  • UV résistance 15 times higher than with white polyethylene collars,
  • very good resilience (15kj/m² ),
  • resistance to constant temperatures up to 90°C,
  • excellent dielectric strength of 70/80kmm,
  • good pressure withstand strength of about 10N/mm²,
  • good gliding properties.

All screw-assembled collars are supplied with stainless steel mounting hardware.
